Who am i?

I'm an IT Project Manager by day and developer by night. My goal is to combine creative thinking and design with an analytical approac to solve problems at the intersection of business and technology. I work great in teams, lead by example and can be counted on to consistently deliver above expectations. Thanks for visiting!

Professional Experience

Following my graduation in Bochum, I joined Capgemini as a Software Engineer and Project Manager. Driven by continuous learning, I spend my spare time expanding my expertise in marketing, business development, and AI.

Relevant Experience

Stepping into this new role was an exciting prospect, especially due to the mix of leadership and technical challenges.

  • Technical leadership of international Scrum teams across onshore, nearshore and offshore locations
  • End-to-end budget and resource responsibility, including value-based prioritization of investments
  • Building and scaling the delivery organization, including a dedicated offshore Scrum team
  • Designing a project-wide delivery process architecture and driving continuous process optimization
  • Steering co-determination and data protection alignment to enable successful go-lives
  • Coaching Product Owners and Scrum Masters and mentoring junior talent for client-facing roles

A pivotal career step that marked my transition from the code editor to assuming my first leadership roles.

  • Defined and launched the MVP of a new product in close coordination with stakeholders and the team
  • Strategic prioritization of product backlog and portfolio, including epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Introduced and established Scrum within a newly formed, cross-functional team
  • Facilitated all Scrum events and removed impediments during a phase of high personnel turnover

This became my first large-scale independent project, launched in response to strong private demand for combined marketing and IT expertise.

  • Founded and built a digital marketing and web design agency alongside full-time employment
  • Delivered client projects ranging from complete website builds to targeted SEO and marketing
  • Increased digital visibility through technical, on-page and off-page SEO, including top Google rankings for local keywords
  • Full responsibility for company management, hosting and infrastructure, and day-to-day operations

Directly after graduating, I was thrilled to join Capgemini, one of the world's leading IT companies. I first learned about the firm through a Dutch YouTuber whose time there inspired me during my studies.

  • Full-stack development of frontend and backend modules with Angular, Java and Spring, applying design patterns and clean code
  • Implementation of business requirements across the entire software development lifecycle
  • Ensured code quality through systematic QA measures and code reviews
  • Integration and management of relational and non-relational databases (SQL & NoSQL) in cloud-based architectures
  • Designed user-centered interfaces with a focus on UI/UX quality and conversion
  • Onboarded junior engineers and advised project management on technical feasibility

My first station as Professional in Software Development. I was very excited and eager to face the challanges awaiting me, and to finally put my theory into practice.

  • Development and customization of plugins for an e-file system in the public sector using Java and C#
  • Tailoring user interfaces and system functionality to specific client requirements
  • Technical consulting for clients to support usage and integration of the deployed software solutions
